Dad: “Oww! Why did you do that Dumps?”

Dumps (To the nearby sitting Anika): “Aneeeek, I get 4 points! 4 extra points!”

A puzzled and hurting Dad turns to Anika and asks, what are these points Gubs? To which Anika responds that these two have their own little system, where they get a point every time one of them troubles Dad or Mom. And since Dumps just KO’ed Dad 4 times, he gets 4 special points.

Dad walks away, stupefied by this intricate replication of the stars and crosses system that he and Mom use on the kids. Something was not right.

Dad: “So what happens when you collect these points?”

Dumps: “We have to collect 20 points, and then we get something, something expensive.”

Dad: “Well, there is only one flaw. Who will buy you the expensive stuff?”

Anika and Dumps, stumped, go back to refining their system.
