Anika LOVES pancakes.

On the Black Friday after Christmas, as Dad and Anika were heading out to Borders to check out the slashed prices and sales [sidenote: no slashes on the stuff that Daddy wanted], Daddy suddenly remembered IHOP (International House of Pancakes).

Daddy: “Anika, did you know that there is a restaurant that ONLY servers pancakes?”

Anika: “Really?”

Daddy: “Yes! Daddy will take you there tomorrow.”

Ponder. Think. Imagine.

Anika: “Daddy, do you know that in England, there is a restaurant that ONLY serves candy.”

Daddy: “Really? Isn’t that a candy shop?”

Anika: “No, they serve it on a plate when you sit down at the table.”
